What to Expect on a Maia Food Tour

Maia Explorer creates guided culinary walks for food curious travelers, couples, small friend groups, and repeat city visitors who want a closer look at local food culture. Each route is built around a market or food district meeting point in Maia and is planned with the day, group size, and tasting interests in mind.

Our market tasting walks last about three hours and usually include four to six tastings, depending on the confirmed route. We also offer neighborhood food tours, private culinary routes, and local specialties tasting walks that connect each stop to the surrounding area instead of treating it as a random list of samples.

Small-group walks with local tastings and clear route planning.

Explore Maia through markets, neighborhood stops, and the stories behind each tasting.

Booking is reservation based, with departures on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 11:00 or 16:30. We ask for dietary information at least 48 hours in advance so we can confirm the route and the tastings available for your visit. Guide language is confirmed before booking and depends on availability.

We do not promise access to third-party venues, and route suitability must be checked for each guest and itinerary. Tastings are arranged through local partners, so allergen-free food and complete cross-contamination avoidance cannot be guaranteed. Transport, accommodation, and package travel are not included.
